Police Officers who commenced employment with SAPOL on or before 31 May 1990 are contributors to the Police Pension Scheme.
The Police Pension Scheme is a public sector superannuation scheme which provides contributors with defined superannuation benefits upon retirement, disability, invalidity and defined benefits to a spouse, children and or estate upon a contributor’s death.

Each financial year the Police Super Board provides members with detailed statements outlining their benefits from the Police Superannuation Scheme.
